Supplementary user notes
The BEMER-Application improves the blood circulation parameters and broadly supports the
natural self-regulating mechanisms of the body. It can contribute to the stabilization and
improvement of various parameters concerning the user’s general well being as well as
being a significant aid in the treatment of different discomfort and diseases by means of the
following scientifically demonstrated effects.
Ø physiologically positive influence on the microcirculatory functions and an increase of
oxygen consumption in the capillary tissue
Ø positive effect on protein biosynthesis (repair proteins)
Ø improvement of the hemodynamic requirements in the first steps of the immunological
processes and thus an indirect support for the body’s own defence mechanisms
Ø positive effect on the vegetative nervous system
Important notes
Before using the BEMER application all discomfort and diseases have clarified by a doctor,
should not have already done so. The medication must not change self-dependent - only in prior consultation by the treating doctor.
Have any inexplicable physical reactions that occur in connection with use the BEMER
application diagnosed by a doctor. In order to be able to respond appropriately to any diseases detected in its early stages.
Relative contraindications
The only relative contraindications are foreign organ transplants and allograft stern cell
transplants, because in this cases the improvment of body´s own immune system is
undesired.
The use of the BEMER 3000 –Application System for patients who have recently had an organ transplant can only be permitted by a physician after considering all possible risks involved.
Autoimmune diseases are not contra-indicated.

The BEMER application is recommended, also if the intake of immunosuppressive drugs are necessary.
Acid-base balance
In case of morbid persons are unpleasant reactions or "feelings" no rareness.
Comment: Among other things the elimination and detoxification processes can initially
cause pain and/or malaise or can intensify already existing pain. An important item for BEMER treatment, particulary at the beginning: Have a look to the acid-base balance! The BEMER-Application can help in the disposal and elimination of acids and other metabolic products from the affected tissue due to its success in activating the metabolism and improving blood circulation. Among other things these elimination and detoxification processes can initially cause pain and/or malaise or can intensify already existing pain. This necessitates therapeutic measures (e.g. intake of base agents) and an increase in the demand for more fluids (preferably pure water). In some cases the increase in pain can be reduced or intensified drastically.
Pregnant user
Pregnant patients can use the BEMER without restrictions. It is to be noted that a fetus (off
approx.. 5 month ) and infants react partly more sensitively on the individual stages of the
BEMER application than adults. Therefore the level 1 can be used very well for calming the fetus when its activity is very strong and also in the evening when the pregnant woman wants to go to sleep, high stages should be avoided.
Implants
Some therapies using electromagnetic fields are often not possible when certain
contraindications exist, eg plastic or metal protheses, pregnancy. This does not apply to the
BEMER 3000-Application System due to the extremely low amount of energy that it emits. The electromagnetic fields of the BEMER 3000 System are low frequency (33Hz) and its intensity is within the earth’s geomagnetic fields (~ 45μT). The intensity is so low that according to the laws of physics it cannot possibly have any relevant effect (eg warming or ionization) on implants in the human organism.
Pacemaker
Today all pacemaker are very good protect against outside influences (fault-free operations
to minimum 400 μT). The question for using the BEMER application without restrictions is: which programming has been used for the electrodes?
Bipolar electrodes have a fault-free operation of minimum 400 μT: The BEMER application and all applicators can be used without restrictions.
Unipolar electrodes: The producers of pacemaker assumed that no acute danger will be
present. But there is at least a theoretical risk conceivable. In this cases (note: the
programming of unipolar electrodes is extreme rare today) an influence or a misinterpretation
should check with electrocardiogram.
General recommendations - measures supporting the BEMER application
Ø comfortable body position, loosen tight clothing
Ø BEMER applications should be carried out under pleasant, undisturbed conditions, in
a well-heated room.
Ø It is recommended that the user drink a glass of uncarbonated water before and
after each BEMER application.
Ø No drinks containing caffeine should be taken immediately before BEMER
application.
Ø Smoking should be avoided immediately following BEMER application.
The basis program
The basic program is intended to provide optimum support for regulatory mechanisms, with
corresponding positive physiological effects. It is the basis for application in all conditions
affecting heath or well-being and where the metabolic situation is unclear.
The "BP - Basic program" means to use the coil mat at any intensity level between 3 and 6. In the
basic progam the duration is set for eight minutes. Depending on the individual requirements, the
system can be used three or four times per day, but it should be used at last once a day.

The BEMER 3000 plus
In particular the BEMER 3000 plus targets the influence of blood supply parameters and is
an option for optimising the proven coil mat application (basic program).
In general, the same recommendations as those for the BEMER 3000 apply. They are
supplemented on a daily basis by one or two applications with the BEMER 3000 plus signal.
The second daily application of the coil mat then occurs for a period of four weeks using
BEMER 3000 plus program P1. From the fifth week onwards (with the beginning of a new
cycle of the basic program) the BEMER 3000 plus program P3 should be used.
Using recommendations for different diagnosed discomfort or
diseases
The following recommendations can just meet a limited spectrum of cases. Please note that
this recommendation simply can assumed the basic states of diseases. The recommendations for poly morbid patients could differ. In alphabetical order…
Allergies
Positive results can be achieved through the anti-inflammatory, anti-edematosic and
congestive effects that occur due to the activation of the repair proteins and the optimization
of the wound-healing processes. The harmonizing/relaxing effects on the vegetative nervous system and the bronchial muscalature are significant factors in the reduction of bronchial hyperreagibility. The BEMER Application can be a sensible and important basis to strengthen the self-healing powers of the organism, to support accompanying measures and possibly to reduce the sideeffects of medicamentous therapies.
ð Once a day use the coil mat according the model of basic program and once a
day with BEMER 3000 plus P3. Additionally it is recommended to use the coil mat at Level 10. In acute cases the intensive applicator containing P4 can be added by application to the swollen mucous membrane.
Arthrosis
Potential effects additionally to general scientifically demonstrated effects are:
Reproduction of the piezo-electrical effect, who affect the evolution and composition of bone
Cells Regulation and positive influence for the metabolism of different mineral and nutrients
Improvement of microcirculatory stimulate elimination processes of acids and metabolism
products.
ð Once or twice a day - use the coil mat according the model of basic program
and once a day with BEMER 3000 plus P3. In case of multiple arthrosis use
additionally coil mat Level 10 once a day. It is recommended at problems
falling asleep that the coil mat with Level 1 be used in the evening before
going to bed. Additionally the use of the intensive applicator with P4 on top of
concerned joints.
Asthma
Positive results can be achieved through the anti-inflammatory, anti-edematosic and
congestive effects that occur due to the activation of the repair proteins and the optimization
of the wound-healing processes. The harmonizing/relaxing effects on the vegetative nervous system and the bronchial muscalature are significant factors in the reduction of bronchial hyperreagibility.
ð The basic program with its general recommendations and using the coil mat is
the foundation of the treatment. Once or twice a day - use the coil mat according the model of basic program and once a day with BEMER 3000 plus P3. In the case of infectious or
allergic illnesses the basic program can be broadened to include one daily
session at Level 10. The use of the intensive applicator containing P4 is recommended in cases involving functional damage or impairment. In acute asthmatic attacks the intensive applicator with P1, followed directly by P3, can be administered to the chest and between the shoulder blades.
Bechterew´s disease (Ankylosing spondylitis)
ð Once or twice a day - use the coil mat according the model of basic program
and once a day with BEMER 3000 plus P3. Use the coil mat Level 10 once a
day additionally. In Episode of no acute inflammatory activity it is recommended to use the coil cushion or intensive applicator with program P4 above the spinal column area.
In acute Episodes it should use just program P3 above the concerned area.
Chronic fatigue syndrome
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome may show different „faces“ and it makes sense to check
conventional application methods and the BEMER Application constantly in order to adjust to any new conditions and to diagnose clearly any new symptoms, and to integrate this into the
treatment. As a rule CFS patients react very sensitively to medication, thus making it
necessary to work with much lower dosages than usual. Since the BEMER 3000 Application can contribute to an improvement in the metabolization of medication, it may be possible to reduce the medication taken further (only after consultation with a physician). It is important to note that if excessive acidification of the tissue occurs, it is sensible to take basic mineral supplements, to have basic mineral-enriched baths and to undertake other de-acidifying measures. A change of diet is also recommended in this case.
ð Once or twice a day - use the coil mat according the model of basic program,
but start with Level 1! For the BEMER 3000 plus - application use P1 exclusive!
Before bed time it is recommended to use the coil mat with Level 1.
Crohn´s disease (chronic inflammatory intestinal disease)
ð Once or twice a day - use the coil mat according the model of basic program
and once a day with BEMER 3000 plus P3. In Episode of no acute inflammatory activity it is recommended to use the coil cushion with program P4 above the intestinal area. In acute Episodes it should use just program P3 above the body.
Cystitis
Most important is to drink a lot of pure water or diuretic teas and to look at the risk of kidney
infection.
ð Once a day use the coil mat according the model of basic program and once a
day with BEMER 3000 plus P3. Additionally it is recommended to use the coil mat at Level 10.
Additionally it is recommended to use the intensive applicator or coil cushion with program P4 above the area of bladder.
Diabetes mellitus
Often are individual recommendations necessary, because a lot of different grave secondary
complications / comorbidity (e.g. polyneuropathy, kidney diseases, diabeteic foot).
ð Once or twice a day - use the coil mat according the model of basic program
and once a day with BEMER 3000 plus P3. If insulin not required, it is recommended to use the intensive applicator with program P4 once a day additionally.
Fever
In the case of diseases causing fever you can use the BEMER application without any reservations. Important for the not medical trained user: Primary the cause of fever have to be checked and if necessary to be treated. Secondary the BEMER application can be recommended as an additional and supporting method.
ð During the fever phase - use the coil mat level 3 and once a day the BEMER
3000 plus program P1. Local use the intensive applicator or coil cushion respectively, with program P3 (grave acute inflammation) and P4 (all other cases) above the concerned
area. After the fever phase - use the coil mat according the basic program. For the optimal healing of aggrieved tissue use the intensive applicator and coil cushion respectively with program P4 above the relevant area.
Fibromyalgia (Fibrositis syndrome)
ð Once or twice a day - use the coil mat according the model of basic program
and once a day with BEMER 3000 plus P3. Before bed time use the coil mat with Level 1. General could the intensive applicator or coil cushion used with program P4 above the painful areas. In Episode of acute inflammatory activity it is recommended to use the intensive applicator or coil cushion with program P3 above the inflammatory area.
Please note the grave connection between this syndrome and a disordered acid-basebalance(see there)!
Fractures (healing of fractures)
Potential effects additionally to general scientifically demonstrated effects are:
Reproduction of the piezo-electric effects, induction of the smallest electric tension (voltage)
that control bone growth and structure Mineral metabolism, especially of calcium, is regulated; this of special significance for the development of bone structure and muscle functions
Improvement of the microcirculation in the damaged tissue, promotion of the elimination of
acids and metabolic end products Stimulation of callus-building cells Activation of the so-called „repair proteins“ and anti-inflammatory effective enzymes, which support the best possible regeneration of the damaged tissue

and once a day with BEMER 3000 plus P3. General could the intensive applicator or coil cushion used with program P4 above the fracture area as often as possible.
Migraine
A migraine attack can be caused by fluctuations in the blood flow of the vessels in the brain.
First there is a brief, spastic constriction of the blood vessels, which causes a lack of oxygen
in the tissues and produces pain. "Pain is the cell screaming for oxygen". This leads to
widening of the arteries, as well as to the activation of a number of biochemical processes,
which causes further pain. The disposition toward migraines seems to be hereditary. Many of
those affected can name initiating factors: foods that tax liver function like chocolate, certain
kinds of cheeses, fatty substances, and alcohol; for women hormonal changes during the
monthly cycle and pregnancy; physical or psychological demands; environmental influences
like weather or bright light, or stress. Many patients with migraines suffer from a prolonged stress level. When this is over and a period of relative relaxation begins, they experience a migraine attack (e.g. weekends, vacations, or after an important decision has been made).
ð Once or twice a day - use the coil mat according the model of basic program
and once a day with BEMER 3000 plus P3. It is recommended at problems falling asleep that the coil mat with Level 1 be used in the evening before going to bed. At the first signs of a nearing attack used the coil mat with Level 1 and following the intensive applicator with Program 1 at the nape. To relieve muscle tension used the intensive applicator or coil cushion with Program P1, P3 or P4 (it have to try individual).
Osteoporosis
Potential effects additionally to general scientifically demonstrated effects are:
Reproduction of the piezo-electric effects, induction of the smallest electric tension (voltage)
that control bone growth and structure Mineral metabolism, especially of calcium, is regulated; this of special significance for the development of bone structure and muscle functions
Improvement of the microcirculation in the damaged tissue, promotion of the elimination of

Prostate Enlargement (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia)
On the strenght of past documented experience the BEMER application have a positive
influence in 40% of using in case of BPH. That is the troubles could alleviated or were complaint free. In 60% of cases coulnd´t ascertained a relevant positive influence of BEMER application in treatment of BPH.
ð Once or twice a day - use the coil mat according the model of basic program
and once a day with BEMER 3000 plus P3. Additionally it is recommended to use the intensive applicator with P4 on top of pubic bone.
Scleroderma
Unfortunately to this day we have no scientific studies about the improvement of BEMER
application on scleroderma application. Your client should try the BEMER treatment. It is
assumed that general symptoms, how fatigue and lassitude will be reduced and the general
well-being could improve.

and once a day with BEMER 3000 plus P3. It is recommended at problems falling asleep that the coil mat with Level 1 be used in the evening before going to bed.
Additionally the client should use the intensive applicator or coil cushion with
P4 above areas of ulceration in skin, connective tissue and organs.
Scoliosis
Some empiric documentations demonstrate a positive effect on the symptoms of scoliosis.
E.g: Lesser pains because of hardening muscles, organ dysfunctions owing to defective
positions and therefore the possibility to reduce the disorders.

and once a day with BEMER 3000 plus P3. It is recommended at problems falling asleep that the coil mat with Level 1 be used in the evening before going to bed. Additionally the client should use the intensive applicator or coil cushion with P4 above the back.
Tinnitus
Further measures can support the BEMER –Application. These include the elimination of risk
factors, such as mental stress, smoking, overweight as well as sufficient movement in the
fresh air. In therapeutic areas positive results can be achieved through acupuncture
(needles, lasers and electro-acupuncture), clarification and, if possible, removal of heavy
metals (amalgam), oxygen cures and the intake of gingko extracts.

Additionally it is recommended to use the intensive applicator with program P4
behind the afflicted ear. In cases of double-sided tinnitus the applicator should be applied behind both ears.
Tumors
The BEMER-Application is no tumor application explicit, but they can be recommended as an
integral part of a complementary medical treatment of tumors and post-tumor treatment.

To expedite wound and scar healing after an operation, the use of intensive applicator
containing P4 is recommended. To support liver functions during and up to 3 weeks after chemoapplication, intensive applicator with P4 can be applied. During radiation application an intensive applicator with P3 should be applied to the area radiated in order to reduce local side effects and pain.
Ulcerative colitis
ð Once or twice a day - use the coil mat according the model of basic program
and once a day with BEMER 3000 plus P3.
Additionally it is recommended to use the coil cushion with program P4 above the intestinal area once a day. In cases of acute cramps or strong pains it should try the using of coil cushion with programs P1 or P3.

Level 3 twice or thrice a day.
ð For vegetative relaxion (e.g. problems for fall asleep or stage fright): use the
coil mat with Level 1 in the evening.
ð In case of susceptibility for infections: additionally at the “normal” applications
use the coil mat Level 10 once a day.
The application of the intensive applicator or coil cushion in case of injuries
ð Use program P1 for skin deep graze, slight burns and skin deep tensions.
ð Use program P3 in case of acute inflammations.
ð Use program P4 after every injury like contusion, sprain, haematoma and
bulge or overloaded joints/muscels as fast as can be. Note: The using of ice
(against pain, swelling and so on) is not necessary an undesired if BEMER
application is available directly!
