How did you come upon the BEMER therapy?
At a medical congress in 2001, I learned about
the BEMER Therapy with the BEMER 3000 device system. I was convinced by it relatively fast, because at that time there were already scientific studies, which substantiated its effectiveness in words and pictures.
How do your patients react, when you suggest pulsating magnetic fields as a therapy?
Some hold back at first. Then, however, as a treating doctor I have the possibility, to speak about the BEMER and explain it. My practice is in a rural area. Nevertheless, I succeed, aside from a few exceptions, to take away my patients’ doubts and prejudices.
Do you have a favorite indication, which you treat with the BEMER?
My field is orthopedics that means patients come to me with worn knees joints, spinal discomfort, etc. However, the BEMER cannot undo deteriorative illnesses though it can slow them down. Arthritis is one such clinical situation, which I diagnose almost daily and is a favorite for me to treat with the BEMER.
With this electromagnetic field therapy other medical conditions are simultaneously treated. My patients report, e.g., about the fact that since they regularly lie on the whole body mat, they no longer suffer sleeplessness or digestive problems.
Do you treat any illness exclusively with the BEMER?
First, I must approach it as a specialist, that is for instance with acute pains, to get a patient out from such aching strain, to prescribe medication. With Chiropractic therapy "Bemering" is the ideal preparation.
With it I reach a loose, relaxed musculature. The BEMER Therapy improves microcirculation substantially. The muscle is supplied much better with blood and with nutrients and oxygen – this counts, by the way for the whole body. This eases my chiropractic therapy work and of course increases the results. I have had very good experiences, with the BEMER as a complementary supporting tool. The Bemer is like a third helping hand for me.
How can one imagine a treatment with you in your practice?
At the first visit the medical condition is discussed and the possibilities to treat them. With this conversation, I also bring the BEMER therapy and the advantages into the discussion. Ten treatments, in each case for approx. eight to 28 minutes on a whole body mat or according to discomfort with the cushion or intensive-applicator, distributed over a maximum five weeks. During the therapy, I always stay in contact with the patient and am informed about the progress.
Today he can work again in the garden and take care of himself. He continues to use daily the electro-magnetic field system and has in the meantime bought the BEMER 3000.
Do you yourself use the BEMER?
Yes, every day.
Which results do you ascertain with yourself?
As a Chiropractor, I have heavy physical work to perform. I must hold my patients, pull on them, press and knead their muscles. Thereby I often feel tense. I rest regularly on the whole body mat in the evenings. After 20 minutes, I do not feel any more tension. In the morning, I lie down on the mat to become quickly awake and fit. | Would you recommend the BEMER 3000 electro magnetic field system as a long-term therapy?
I try to clarify over and over again the meaningfulness of a long-term application. After initial or advanced treatment in my practice, I recommend the home application by renting a mat, because it allows for optimal improvement and healing progress. Every patient decides for himself, whether he now wants to regularly come to the practice or choose the more comfortable and more effective way of home therapy.
Self-regulation with healing of medical conditions is best achieved by regular "Bemering" 2 - 3 times everyday guarantees relief. If one interrupts the therapy at times or on a continuing basis, then the self-regulation processes are interrupted and therefore delays or prevents the results. After my patients find out the value of the BEMER to their own health, many do not want to stop using it after their treatment, instead they buy the BEMER and continue to use it daily for health care.
What do the patients report?
Very sensitive people feel a pleasant prickle or a warm feeling during the application. These are signs, pointing to an improved microcirculation. Some say, that they generally
feel absolutely nothing. They are almost a little disappointed. However, if I ask, further: “Can it be that you sleep better, and have to take less less laxative?“ the patients notice indeed something positive is happening in their body –but on a completely different level. The body decides for itself where it first begins to heal and regenerate, namely there where it seems the most logical.
How would you explain in your own words the effect of the BEMER 3000?
The BEMER reaches to the base at the molecular level and supports there from the outgoing metabolism and the self-regulation mechanisms. The BEMER limits itself not to one symptom. The BEMER works where the body believes is as the case may be the first to adjust or to have to heal. That makes the prediction of a course of recovery sometimes difficult. The BEMER works at a width, which to my knowledge no other drug is capable.
Can one then speak from a wonder drug?
The word wonder drug has for me here a too negative touch. For that reason, rather not. But I use this word quite completely with pleasure, during therapy when I clearly ascertain healing in progress. Then I say to my patients: “Isn’t that a small wonder, that you don’t have any more pain?”
Can you remember a case in your practice, where the BEMER has fantastically helped?
An 81-year-old patient was about half a year in an intensive care unit. During his operation, there were heavy complications ones which were so bad that one feared for his life. He was long bed-ridden and one had given up on him. Then the BEMER came into play. With it he became fit again in body, mind and soul.
Today he can work again in the garden and take care of himself .
